Description
This anti-bullying workplace training will provide your people with an overview of what bullying can look like in the workplace and the steps they can take if they are being bullied at work.
WorkSafe NZ defines workplace bullying as repeated and unreasonable behaviour directed towards a worker or a group of workers that can lead to physical or psychological harm. The behaviour is persistent (occurs more than once) and can involve a range of actions over time. People who are bullied can experience short and long-term psychological and physical harm and are more likely to experience mental health problems such as depression and anxiety. Not only this; workplace bullying and harassment can have significant impacts on their employer, through reduced productivity and poor engagement and culture — resulting in long-term financial and reputational damage.
Preventing bullying is everyone’s responsibility. Having steps in place to identify when it is happening and having a robust response plan in place is crucial for the wellbeing of the employee and the wider organisation.
This online anti-bullying workplace training will help learners to:
- Identify types of bullying
- Identify bullying behaviours
