Contact us about this module

The NZ Privacy Act 2020 sets out rules about handling private information and how organisations and businesses can collect, store, use and share information. It’s an important element of building trust (as well as maintaining compliance) for New Zealand businesses.

Help your people to familiarise themselves with the legal requirements of handling the private information of your customers and clients and mandatory data breach reporting in the Actions to Protect your business module. This module will give your people everything they need to identify a privacy breach and the steps to take if this has happened. It is designed to complement our Introduction to NZ Privacy Act module.

This easy-to-follow module will walk your people through:

  • Identifying a privacy breach
  • Actions to take if a privacy breach has happened
